The Guilford County Planning and Development Department is currently updating the county’s Comprehensive Plan! The Comprehensive Plan is intended as a guide to help ensure development within the County takes place in a manner that is consistent with the vision and priorities of Guilford County’s citizens and property owners. Comprehensive plans provide strategic guidance for policy decisions related to land use, future growth, economic development, housing, transportation and mobility, the environment and parks and recreation. These plans are required by state statute and serve to document the community’s vision and goals
